Consumer Protection - It's more important than ever to protect your privacy and your credit. We have scoured the Web for articles we feel may be helpful in assisting readers in making decisions about their finances and privacy. Consumers should beware the many scams that seek to prey upon their trust and good faith.
Global Warming - We are as concerned about the environment as everyone else. We understand that what man does to the Earth affects every individual's health and the future of our race. We also have compassion for the other creatures that share this planet with us. These articles help keep people information about global warming issues.
History - An saying tells us that those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. The study of history is an ancient discipline going all the way back to the pre-Roman Greeks. We believe that the more you know about history and the better you understand how history can help us all, the better off we all shall be.
Science - Kids will enjoy reading the science articles we have uncovered. There are many science Web sites out there but not all of them are family-friendly. We have found what we believe are good articles that help put science within everyone's reach.
Technology - Technology has become part of our lives in many different ways. We use very sophisticated technology merely to share and read these articles. We have tried to find interesting articles that help make technology less daunting and more personal.
What makes an article or topic interesting? We feel that presentation plays a great part in establishing the quality of an article. We cannot know if the author is well-informed on very many topics. But if they write well, at least what they say will be entertaining and interesting.
We also took into consideration the kinds of things people search for on the Internet. Interests vary by region and time, so we may update our archives 2 or 3 times per year. We trust you'll find our selections worth reading. But if not today, then perhaps in a few months.
Each page inside includes a sidebar with links to Web pages or sites about individuals, organizations, archives, etc. that we feel are worth mentioning but we cannot provide extensive citations from.
We hope to add more listings as time and our schedules permit.
It seemed like the best domain name available, to be honest. It's short and to the point. And a "tale" does not have to be fiction. So we hope you'll enjoy the articles we have selected. Some of our selectins are reprints. In other cases we link to what we feel are interesting Web sites.
